Our Founder's Journey

Alex Acree is a certified public accountant with over a decade of experience working with nonprofits and churches. Throughout his career, he noticed a consistent pattern: organizations were drowning in bookkeeping while struggling to find affordable, purpose-built accounting solutions.

Churches were trying to force QuickBooks into their fund accounting model. Nonprofits were juggling spreadsheets to track grants and restricted funds. Everyone was spending too much time on books and not enough time on their mission.

In 2023, Alex decided to build something better. T3 Books was born from the belief that every church and nonprofit deserves more than just accurate books — they deserve a partner who understands their mission, values their time, and shares their passion for impact.
